• Oversee the full set of accounts and ensure all accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, ledgers, journals, and supporting documents.
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash flow, banking, and other accounting transactions.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including necessary adjustments and reconciliations.
• Oversee project/job costing, stock inventory, and related accounting records to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee and manage the AutoCount Stock Module, ensuring proper control, accuracy, and maintenance of stock and inventory records.
• Review financial and operational variances, identify discrepancies, and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Oversee the preparation of audit, tax, statutory, and other financial schedules and supporting documents.
• Supervise, review, and provide guidance to the Accounts team to ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, internal controls, accounting procedures, and Company policies.
• Review monthly payroll and salary payouts prior to payment.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and other external parties on financial and accounting matters.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the Accounts team and assist in resolving accounting issues.
• Support Management in budgeting, forecasting, costing, financial analysis, and internal control matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, controls, and overall financial efficiency.
• Perform other ad-hoc financial, accounting, and management duties as assigned by Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
