Responsibilities
Job Summary
You will prepare and produce a variety of pastries and cakes, ensuring accuracy in ingredient preparation and adherence to recipes and hygiene standards, while supporting kitchen operations and maintaining cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and collaborate effectively with team members to meet kitchen production goals.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Apply knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Adapt to changing menus and customer preferences by adjusting preparation and production methods accordingly.
- Accurately prepare all pastry ingredients to meet recipe requirements.
- Produce mousse cream, batter, knee tart, pie cookies and cakes following established recipes.
- Layer and decorate pastries and cakes to meet presentation specifications set by the Patisserie Chef.
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines precisely to ensure product consistency.
- Assist in stocktaking ingredients and products, maintaining neat and clean records.
- Store and package ingredients, utensils, supplies and equipment properly to preserve quality and safety.
- Adhere strictly to kitchen standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and kitchen safety at all times.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned to support kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience
