Role Description The Paraplanner will support financial advisors and estate planning practitioners in delivering comprehensive client solutions. This contract role is based on-site in Singapore. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial and estate planning reports, conducting research and analysis on clients’ financial positions, and assisting in the formulation of recommendations on investments, wealth distribution, and succession strategies. The role involves organizing client information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring documentation for wills, trusts, and related structures is complete and compliant. The Paraplanner will also collaborate with advisors to streamline processes, support client meetings with relevant materials, and contribute to continuous improvement of planning templates and tools.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance to support comprehensive estate and wealth management solutions.
  • Robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess client needs, and evaluate planning scenarios.
  • Knowledge of Investments to assist in developing suitable strategies aligned with clients’ objectives and risk profiles.
  • Proficiency in Report Writing to prepare clear, structured, and accurate financial and estate planning documents.
  • Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, ChFC) are an advantage.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines responsibly.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
  • Interest or experience in estate planning, succession planning, or wealth management within the Singapore or regional context is beneficial.
