Responsibilities
Finance Executive (FP&A) – 6-Month Contract
A well-established organisation is seeking a Finance Executive to support its Financial Planning & Analysis function on a 6-month contract basis, which may be extended or renewed. The role will provide hands-on support across budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting, while working closely with the wider finance team and business stakeholders.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including preparation of financial schedules and analysis.
Assist with financial planning and analysis, providing insights into financial performance, trends and key business drivers.
Prepare and consolidate management reports, financial analysis and presentations for management review.
Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and supporting explanations for management.
Assist with monthly financial reporting, including data gathering, reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
Work with various internal stakeholders to gather financial information, understand business assumptions and ensure accuracy of reporting.
Support process improvements and other finance-related projects or ad-hoc assignments as required.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
2–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, management reporting, financial analysis or a broader finance function.
Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into meaningful insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with financial systems or ERP platforms.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
