- Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, standards, and operational requirements.
- Conduct and maintain risk assessment processes covering both general and site-specific operational activities.
- Maintain an HSE risk register and support the implementation of appropriate measures to eliminate, minimise, or control identified risks.
- Monitor HSE objectives, targets, compliance requirements, and overall management-system effectiveness.
- Coordinate the reporting, investigation, documentation, and follow-up of accidents, incidents, and work-related health cases.
- Support internal and external HSE audits, inspections, and related reporting activities.
- Assist in HSE performance reviews, improvement planning, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
- Review findings from audits, inspections, incidents, and monitoring activities and incorporate relevant lessons learned into improvement initiatives.
- Promote awareness of HSE best practices and support their implementation across operational activities.
- Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to strengthen HSE standards and continuous improvement.
- Undertake other duties related to HSE as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess Certificate of competency to Class 2 or above (Deck) recognised by MPA Singapore
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations/tankers.
- Familiarity with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS and other maritime regulations.
- ISM/ISPS or ISO Lead Auditor certification is added advantage.
