Responsibilities
Post-Silicon Validation & Debug: post-silicon bring-up, feature enablement, and validation
Debugging skills:
system-level issues across silicon, BIOS, firmware, and OS; code level (low-level + system level), RAID, Security features, Hands-on/debug knowledge of: PCIe and USB
Cross-Layer Root Causing (RCA):
Hardware (silicon / platform)
Firmware (BIOS/UEFI)
Software (OS, drivers)
System Architecture: x86 ecosystem functions/ Computer Systems & Platform Architecture
BIOS Domain
x86 BIOS development
Debugging:
ACPI
USB enumeration
RAID
OS Domain
Windows kernel / Linux kernel debugging
Power management (OS-level)
Hardware / IO Domain
Deep protocol-level knowledge (PCIe, USB)
Hardware signal/debug expertise
