Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Ensure the quality, taste, freshness and presentation of all food served.
Plan and organise daily food preparation and cooking activities.
Check ingredients and ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
Monitor food inventory and inform management when supplies need to be replenished.
Minimise food wastage and control the use of ingredients.
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Ensure dishes are prepared and served on time during busy operating periods.
