Role Description The Event, Assistant Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events and webinars, from initial concept and budgeting through on-site and online delivery. Responsibilities include liaising with clients and partners, managing timelines and logistics, coordinating vendors and venues, and ensuring brand-consistent event experiences. The role also involves preparing event briefs, run-downs, and post-event reports, tracking performance metrics, and supporting lead generation and data capture activities. The Event, Assistant Manager works closely with internal marketing and project teams to align event objectives with broader campaign goals and maintain high standards of customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, and on-site/online execution, preferably in marketing or consulting environments.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with virtual event platforms, webinar tools, and basic digital collaboration software (e.g., Zoom, Teams, event management systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and build collaborative relationships with clients and partners.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering smooth, high-quality event experiences.
  • Comfort working with event performance data and basic analytics to support reporting, lead tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Singapore, managing both in-person and remote responsibilities effectively.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; prior experience in regional or international events is an advantage.
