Job Scope / Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics operations, including local and overseas shipments.
• Arrange transportation, delivery schedules, and collection of goods with transporters and logistics providers.
• Prepare and verify shipping and delivery documents, including Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure goods are delivered on time.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, forwarding agents, transporters, and internal departments on logistics arrangements.
• Liaise with shipping/forwarding agents on customs clearance and import/export documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with customs, port, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Monitor transportation costs and assist in obtaining competitive freight rates.
• Track logistics expenses and maintain proper records for costing and payment purposes.
• Handle delivery issues, delays, damages, shortages, and customer complaints related to transportation.
• Coordinate loading and unloading activities and ensure proper handling of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, transportation schedules, and logistics documents.
• Prepare logistics reports and provide updates to management.
• Support warehouse and inventory activities when required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, timber, construction materials, or export/import industry is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of local and international shipping procedures and documentation.
• Familiar with customs clearance and freight forwarding processes.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Willing to work with different departments and external logistics providers.

Pay: RM1,456.71 - RM5,230.73 per month
