Responsibilities

Company Description

Click IX, founded in 2022, brings together experienced professionals specialising in digital signage solutions, marketing, and branding. We design, deploy, and maintain digital signage networks for clients across Malaysia, including retail chains and telecommunications brands. Our work spans creative content, hardware deployment, and ongoing technical support, combining industry expertise with hands-on technical knowledge to deliver reliable, impactful visual communication.

Role Description

The Operations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, splitting time roughly evenly between office-based coordination and field work at client sites nationwide.

In the office, you will monitor the health of our deployed screen network, respond to alerts, log and track issues through to closure, and prepare daily and monthly reports for clients and management.

In the field, you will travel to client outlets, including outstation locations, to install and configure media players and displays, carry out on-site troubleshooting, and complete service documentation. You will also provide Level 1 technical support to clients by phone, email, and remote access, escalating to senior technical staff where needed.

This is a practical, varied role suited to someone who is comfortable working independently on the road and equally comfortable with a spreadsheet and a keyboard.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor digital signage screens daily and flag offline or faulty units for action
  • Provide L1 support to clients: diagnose, resolve, or escalate reported issues
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot our product range on site, including Windows PCs, Android devices, displays, and basic network connectivity
  • Travel to sites around Klang Valley and outstation for deployments and service calls
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, deployments, and job history
  • Prepare and issue regular operational reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, and client contacts to keep jobs moving

Requirements

  • SPM or above. A certificate, diploma, or degree in IT, electronics, or a related technical field is an advantage but not essential.
  • Valid Malaysian driving licence and willingness to travel outstation, including occasional overnight stays. A GDL licence is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of PC hardware and software: setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows machines.
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP settings, routers, connectivity troubleshooting).
  • Comfortable working within the Microsoft ecosystem for daily reporting and documentation.
  • Exposure to Android devices is an advantage. Full training will be provided on Android hardware and our digital signage platforms.
  • Clear communicator in English and Bahasa Malaysia, able to deal with clients professionally.
  • Practical problem-solver who can think through an issue on site without step-by-step supervision.
  • Able to work as part of a small team and adapt as priorities shift through the day.

Fresh SPM leavers with genuine hands-on interest in computers and technology are welcome to apply. Training will be provided on our systems and client platforms.
