About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking a Finance & Accounts Executive to join the Finance team at KONSULTAN KHIDMAT SETIA. This is a full-time position based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

As Finance & Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the financial accounting and reporting functions of the organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position is integral to the smooth operation of our finance department and contributes directly to the financial health and transparency of KONSULTAN KHIDMAT SETIA.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and recording daily financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner

• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy

• Preparing invoices, purchase orders and other accounting documentation

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Maintaining and organising financial records and supporting documentation

• Performing account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies

• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Supporting the year-end audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and analysis

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies and internal procedures

• Liaising with external parties such as auditors, tax authorities and vendors as required

What we're looking for

• Qualification in accounting, finance or a related discipline (such as a professional accounting qualification or equivalent diploma)

• Proven experience in financial accounting, accounts preparation or a similar accounting role

• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and bookkeeping practices

• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with team members

• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting regulations and tax requirements (preferred)

• Experience with payroll or tax accounting (preferred)
