L2 Support Engineer – Network

Location: Singapore — Work from Office daily

Duration: 6 months-1 years & renewable

Travel: Must be willing to travel to Vietnam when required

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced L2 Network Support Engineer to provide ongoing network support from Singapore, with occasional travel to Vietnam. The role involves enterprise network operations, troubleshooting, security, wireless infrastructure, and participation in network implementation and optimization projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for enterprise network incidents, service requests, and changes.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments.
• Manage routing and switching infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Support firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower.
• Manage wireless networks using Cisco, Aruba, or Meraki solutions.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and configuration backups.
• Participate in network implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex network issues.
• Travel to Vietnam when required for network support activities.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Routing: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Switching: VLANs, STP, EtherChannel; VxLAN preferred
• Firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower
• Wireless: Cisco, Aruba, Meraki
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, QoS
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Network security best practices
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP
• PCNSA / PCNSE
• Aruba ACMP
• Fortinet NSE

Nice to Have

• SD-WAN
• Network Automation – Python, Ansible
• Cloud Networking – AWS / Azure
• NAC solutions – Cisco ISE / Aruba ClearPass

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of hands-on enterprise network support experience with strong L2 troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless technologies. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in Singapore daily and travelling to Vietnam when required.
