Job Description
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
* Full Set of Accounts: Manage and handle the full set of accounts, encompassing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
* Accounts Receivable (AR):
* Prepare AR invoices, credit memos, and key in receipts from customers.
* Issue official receipts and bank in cash received when necessary.
* Generate monthly statement of accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables for SBU / Management meetings.
* Follow up with Operations on unbilled revenue.
* Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, prepare payment vouchers, and reconcile supplier statements.
* General Ledger (GL) & Month-End:
* Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
* Perform bank reconciliations and execute month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Prepare and reconcile Balance Sheet schedules on a monthly basis.
* Stakeholder Management: Handle queries from customers, vendors, and internal staff regarding outstanding accounts and billing matters.
* Compliance & Audit: Assist in liaising with and resolving queries from tax agents and auditors regarding tax (e.g., GST submissions) and audit issues.
* Ad-hoc: Perform other ad-hoc finance reports and duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
* Minimum NITEC, Diploma in Accountancy, or other relevant accounting qualifications.
* Preferably with at least 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, specifically in handling a full set of accounts.
* Must be able to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Must be meticulous, highly organized, and able to work independently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Navision / Business Central) will be an added advantage
