About the role

This role involves handling daily accounting functions and supporting the finance team with a range of accounting and financial reporting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full set of accounts and ensure timely submission of monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Prepare accurate and timely consolidated monthly and annual financial reports, quarterly reports for Bursa announcement, Board Papers and Annual Report
• Handle daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, and relevant authorities on finance-related matters.
• Assist in statutory audits, tax compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Able to work independently while being an effective team player.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
