Job Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and organised Events Manager to plan, coordinate and manage events from concept development through to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organise and manage corporate, promotional and other events.
Develop event concepts, programmes, schedules and operational plans.
Coordinate with clients, venues, suppliers, contractors and other service providers.
Source and negotiate with vendors and manage event-related procurement.
Prepare event budgets, quotations and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, equipment, catering, decorations and manpower.
Manage event teams and oversee on-site event operations.
Monitor event progress and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure successful delivery of events.
Conduct post-event reviews and prepare reports on event performance and expenditure.
Maintain good working relationships with clients, vendors and business partners.
Perform other duties related to event planning and management as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in event planning, coordination or management.
Strong project management, organisational and communication skills.
Good knowledge of event operations, budgeting and vendor management.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Able to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
