Responsibilities
Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards before they reach customers. You will perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts, and components used in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct visual and measurement tests on incoming materials and parts according to established procedures.
Inspect products during various stages of production to ensure adherence to specified quality standards.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality tests and checks.
Identify and report any non-conformances or defects in products or materials.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements to ensure product quality and efficiency.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
SMC Manufacturing (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. was established as SMC Group’s first mass production factory outside Japan and began operations in August 1987.
The factory produces One Touch Fittings (KQ, KQ2, KJ, KR, KG, KP and KV2 series), Solenoid Valve Coils (VF, VZ, VK, and VS7 series), and Refrigerated Air Dryers (IDF and IDU series), which are shipped to countries around the world including Japan.
