Job Summary
Join Tiong Lian Food as a Human Resource Executive to drive recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, engagement, training, payroll support, and HR administration in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle by advertising jobs, screening candidates, coordinating and conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires to meet staffing needs
Maintain and update accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel databases to ensure data integrity
Administer employee benefits, leave, and entitlements to support workforce welfare
Coordinate and support training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
Address employee relations issues, including concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions, following company policies and Singapore employment laws
Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and related documentation
Assist in ensuring compliance with Singapore employment legislation and internal HR policies to mitigate risks
Organize and coordinate employee engagement activities and company events to foster a positive workplace culture
Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and initiatives to enhance HR operations
Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR department to maintain smooth workflows
Required competencies and certifications
Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields (e.g., IHRP)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in recruitment, employee engagement, and payroll administration
Proven experience in a human resources role within the food, manufacturing, or similar operational environment
Knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices
Proficiency in Infotech HRMS/HRIS and Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees at all levels
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
Proactive, hands-on problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement
