Job Description:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and company standards.
Ensure food is prepared consistently and presented properly.
Assist with food preparation, including cutting, marinating and portioning ingredients.
Maintain proper food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Monitor food quality and freshness of ingredients.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
Assist with stock checking and proper storage of ingredients.
Minimise food wastage and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirements:
Relevant experience in a restaurant, food outlet or commercial kitchen is preferred.
Candidates with relevant culinary experience are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsible, hardworking and team-oriented.
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
