Pre-Reg / Full-Reg / Fresh Grads welcome

Working Hours: 5 days work week, generally 11am – 9pm except for ION Orchard.

Gross Salary: $3,400 - $4,000

Roles & Responsibilities

The Optician assists customers in choosing the correct eyewear, ensures proper fitting, and manages the ordering and adjustment of lenses and frames. This role involves interpreting prescriptions, providing advice on lens types, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Optician also handles administrative tasks related to eyewear sales and maintains inventory.

• Brand Representation
  Act as a brand ambassador, reflecting brand values and maintaining a consistent, positive image in all customer interactions.
• Customer Service & Engagement
  Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable eyewear. Deliver expert advice on lens options and proper eyewear care to ensure a memorable shopping experience.
• Professional Refraction
  Interpret prescriptions accurately and take precise measurements. Address issues related to lens fitting, vision clarity, or frame adjustments.
• Eyewear Fitting & Adjustments
  Edge and fit lenses, adjust and align frames for comfort and clarity. Handle minor repairs and frame adjustments.
• Sales & Targets
  Promote products and offers to drive sales and brand awareness. Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets.
• Visual Merchandising
  Maintain attractive product displays in line with brand standards. Collaborate with the VM team for impactful in-store presentations.
• Inventory & Orders
  Manage stock levels, place lens orders, and ensure timely delivery. Perform regular stock checks.
• Daily Operations
  Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

Job Requirements:

• Registered Optician under MOH Optometrists and Optician Board
• Entry Level candidates with relevant certification welcome
• Willing to work retail hours and weekends
