About the Role

BIMora Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated Civil Engineering Intern to join our team.

This internship provides students with practical exposure to civil and structural engineering work while introducing them to modern digital engineering practices, including Building Information Modelling (BIM), automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

We are looking for someone with a good engineering foundation, a willingness to learn, and genuine curiosity about how emerging technologies can improve engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• The intern will assist our team with:
• Civil and structural engineering-related technical work
• Preparation and review of engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Basic engineering calculations and data analysis
• Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital engineering activities
• Quantity take-off and organisation of project information where required
• Technical research related to engineering methods, materials, standards, and technologies
• Preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation
• Exploring opportunities to improve engineering workflows using digital tools and automation
• Learning and assisting with practical applications of AI in engineering workflows
• Other engineering-related tasks under the guidance of the team

Academic Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Basic understanding of civil and structural engineering principles
• Able to understand engineering drawings and technical information
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Engineering automation or data analysis
