Job Brief As an Investment Analyst, you will be the core research engine behind our portfolio management and corporate asset evaluation strategies. Your primary focus will be analyzing corporate financial statements, building structural valuation models, writing market intelligence memos, and tracking macroeconomic trends across Southeast Asia. You will work directly with our managing partners to turn raw market numbers into high-value, actionable investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and Industry Research: Conduct deep-dive secondary research on financial market movements, sector-specific disruptions, and emerging investment trends.
- Financial Modeling and Valuation: Analyze target company statements, forecast revenues, evaluate cash flow mechanics, and build robust valuation frameworks for project evaluation.
- Portfolio Tracking and Risk Auditing: Maintain and update internal investment asset trackers, evaluate asset yields, and flag data variations or risk exposure anomalies.
- Report and Pitch Preparation: Draft professional investment memos, background entity summaries, and market risk profiles to present directly to management partners.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Assist in the review of legal contracts, background documentation, and transaction histories during corporate acquisition or venture pipelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a financial analyst, research associate, data analyst, or accounting assistant. Prior background working in corporate advisory, asset management, or private equity is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced operational mastery of data processing features in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, logical formulas) and comfort using modern financial tracking portals.
- Core Competencies: High structural thinking habits, intense attention to numbers and dates inside corporate profiles, and a highly organized approach to cyclical evaluation timelines.
- Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills to present financial arguments simply to project leaders and external partners.
