Responsibilities:

• Operate plant equipment and processes both from the control room (DCS) and in the field under guidance from the Production Engineer.
• Follow all EHS regulations, SOPs, and emergency procedures.
• Perform field duties such as material and catalyst loading, equipment preparation for Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), filter replacements, 5S rounds, and regular inspections.
• Learn to operate the Delta V DCS system with support from senior technicians.
• Assist with sampling and basic testing during production.
• Report any safety issues, accidents, or unsafe behaviors immediately.
• Participate in safety programs and serve as part of the firefighting team when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other related engineering qualification (e.g. Nitec)
• Able to work 24/7 shift schedule
• Basic understanding of chemical processes
• Able to use Microsoft Office. Experience in SAP PM module will be an added advantage.
