Job Summary

• Job Title: Design Quality Engineer

• Industry: Semiconductor / Electronics Testing

• Location: Serangoon, Singapore

• Working Hours: 5 days/week, 8:30am–5:30pm

• Benefits: AWS + Performance Bonus (1–2 months)

Main Responsibilities

• Developing and executing qualification test plans for new semiconductor equipment designs based on customer use cases.

• Designing and implementing Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) and stress tests for high-value components.

• Performing statistical and reliability analysis using DOE, Cpk, t-test, regression, etc.

• Evaluating component and system-level quality and working with suppliers to drive quality improvements.

• Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting with engineering teams.

• Tracking defects identified during testing and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed.

• Maintaining 5S, laboratory safety, equipment maintenance, and calibration standards.

• Preparing technical reports based on qualification, test, and reliability data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of qualification testing, test planning, test instrumentation, and problem-solving.

• Experience with statistical analysis and reliability methods, especially:

• DOE

  Cpk

  t-test

  Regression

  Reliability analysis

• Proficient in Minitab and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Strong RCA, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Independent, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
