Key Responsibilities

  • Design user interfaces and end-to-end user flows across key product journeys.
  • Translate product requirements, business objectives, and research insights into effective design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction designs.
  • Establish and maintain consistent design patterns, component libraries, and design systems.
  • Conduct and support usability testing activities to validate design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility and inclusive design standards, including WCAG 2.1 requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute reusable patterns and components to broader design systems where appropriate.
  • Communicate design rationale and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of UI, UX, or Product Design experience with a portfolio showcasing delivered digital products.
  • Strong expertise in visual design, interaction design, information architecture, and responsive design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, variants, and design tokens.
  • Experience planning, conducting, and analysing usability testing.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards, inclusive design practices, WCAG 2.1, and ARIA considerations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing workflow-intensive, operational, or management systems such as dashboards, scheduling platforms, records management systems, or enterprise applications.
  • Experience working on large-scale public sector or citizen-facing digital products.
