About this role:

This role manages Mutu Case's products from start to finish, coordinating with suppliers, overseeing packaging and orders, and resolving product issues. You will work closely with the founder and team to ensure every product meets our quality standards and lives up to our brand promise.

We are looking for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly organised. The right person takes ownership of problems, communicates clearly, and follows through until issues are resolved. You should be comfortable working with suppliers, managing packaging and stock, and maintaining quality standards across all products.

In this role, your responsibilities are:

• Product Quality & Assurance: Set up and maintain quality standards for all Mutu Case products. Conduct regular checks on incoming stock, investigate customer-reported issues, identify root causes, and work with suppliers on corrective actions.
• Sourcing & Supplier Management: Source and manage relationships with suppliers for phone cases, packaging, and accessories. Place orders, coordinate production timelines, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality expectations. Evaluate new suppliers and materials to improve quality or reduce costs, and monitor supplier performance.
• Packaging: Source packaging materials and conduct regular checks to resolve issues. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure packaging aligns with Mutu's brand identity and quality standards. Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
• Product Development Support: Support the founders in sourcing and developing new products. Research market trends and competitors, gather customer feedback to inform improvements, and coordinate product samples and testing before launch.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team on product and packaging feasibility. Coordinate with operations on stock and fulfillment, and report regularly to the founder on quality, supplier performance, and issues.

This position requires:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in product management, sourcing, quality assurance, or a related field. Experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, or the phone case industry is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues thoroughly and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with suppliers, internal teams, and customers professionally.
• A hands-on, proactive mindset with comfort working independently and taking ownership of problems.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple suppliers, orders, and projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of supply chain, sourcing, or manufacturing processes.
• Able to write and speak Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English as this roles will required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
• Attention to detail, particularly when it comes to product quality and packaging standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per hour
