Job Description
Responsibilities
1. Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site inspection of mechanicalsystem and piping installation work
Develop detailed mechanical shop drawings(including piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and ducting plans) andcoordinate drawing submissions for approval; guide site workers in constructionexecution based on approved drawings
Establish professional constructionschedules using project management software such as Microsoft Project or P6;prepare Excel-based bar charts and maintain 3-week rolling schedule tracking
Manage system equipment and materialtake-offs, material sourcing, price inquiries and negotiations, and materialsubmittals; inspect and verify quantities, specifications, and receiving ofmaterials upon delivery
Participate in various site and companymeetings as required, and prepare meeting minutes
Support tendering activities as per companyrequirements, including but not limited to: quantity take-offs, procurementinquiries, cost compilation, interview support, site surveys, etc.
Coordinate with QAQC teams to supportinspection and acceptance procedures at all project stages (e.g., pipinghydrotests, equipment alignment, duct leakage testing)
Oversee project close-out activities,proactively track and complete all punch-list items, including outstandingissues from other disciplines
2. Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in MechanicalEngineering, Piping Engineering, HVAC, or a related field (full-time study)
Experience
1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or piping systems, withexposure to full project cycles (design, construction, commissioning,settlement)
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of HVAC systems,chilled water systems, process piping, fire protection piping, and plumbingsystems
Familiar with mechanical drawingdevelopment (equipment layouts, piping isometrics, ducting plans), constructionmanagement, system commissioning, and project settlement
Proficient in AutoCAD and standard officesoftware (Word, Excel, Project, P6, etc.)
Soft Skills
Strong communication and coordinationskills
Ability to solve on-site technical issues
Willing to work on project sites and adaptto project-based schedules
Other
Open to short-term assignments withinSingapore or overseas project locations
