REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in M&E Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in factory, plant, M&E, engineering, or maintenance operations.
• Experience managing factory machinery, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and building facilities.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently under pressure.
• Experience supervising technicians, contractors, and maintenance vendors.
• Able to plan preventive maintenance and respond effectively to breakdowns.
• Good understanding of workplace safety, statutory and regulatory requirements related to factory and maintenance operations.
• Able to work independently and be hands-on when required.
• Experience in an M&E / engineering/construction SME environment will be an advantage.
• Have a valid GDL license (if any)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the daily maintenance, operation and overall condition of the factory, machinery, equipment and facilities.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, compressed air and other M&E systems.
• Monitor machinery performance, breakdowns and downtime to minimise disruption to factory operations.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance technicians, contractors and external service providers.
• Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts, tools, equipment and maintenance records.
• Coordinate repair, servicing, installation and upgrading works with internal teams and external contractors.
• Monitor factory utilities and maintenance-related operating costs, including electricity, water and other expenses.
• Ensure factory facilities, equipment and working areas are maintained in a safe, clean and operational condition, in compliance with relevant safety and statutory requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, schedules, budgets and recommendations, and coordinate with Engineering, HSE, Project and Management teams on improvement works.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce breakdowns, improve operational efficiency and control maintenance costs.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
