JOB DESCRIPTION

KPR Food Caterers Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s leading halal catering company with more than 2 decades of operational excellence. Our operations run on cloud-based systems, driven by SOPs, KPIs, and a relentless pursuit for future market demand.

With a headcount of 150, we serve a wide range of events, from Government, Corporate, SMI, SME and Grand Weddings to Private Parties. We also operate food trucks, restaurants, cafes and event halls by expanding our footprint in the F&B industry in Klang Valley.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

• Handle the full set of accounts for KPR HQ, restaurants, food truck operations and other subsidiaries/business entities under KPR.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and transactions.
• Update daily sales, expenses, purchases, payments and other financial transactions into the SQL Accounting System.
• Monitor and reconcile daily sales collections, expenses and payment records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for restaurant operations.
• Extract, consolidate and analyse sales reports from external delivery platforms such as Foodpanda and GrabFood.
• Reconcile Foodpanda and GrabFood sales, commissions, deductions and settlements against the company's records.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports and other accounting schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliation, supplier/customer reconciliation and other accounting reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, delivery platforms, auditors, tax agents and other relevant parties when required.
• Assist in preparing documents required for audit, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions or accounting errors and report them to management.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in full set accounts will be an advantage.
• Experience with SQL Accounting Software is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Experience handling sales reconciliation, preferably in F&B, restaurant or retail operations, will be an advantage.
• Good Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
