Senior Social Worker

REACH Community Services Ltd. is a social service agency committed to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through professional and compassionate services.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Family Service Centre. Working closely with the Head of Department, you will provide professional leadership in casework, staff supervision, programme development, and community partnerships while supporting the strategic growth of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex casework and counselling for individuals and families.
• Lead case conferences and collaborate with community partners and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support the implementation of practice standards, policies, and service improvements.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-informed programmes and group work.
• Build partnerships with community organisations and stakeholders.
• Provide professional supervision, coaching, and mentoring to Social Workers and interns.
• Support staff development and uphold ethical social work practice.
• Assist the Head of Department in service planning, operations, and quality improvement.
• Participate in organisational projects and undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum a degree in Social Work recognised for professional practice in Singapore
• Registered Social Worker accreditation in Singapore.
• At least 6 years of relevant social work experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Postgraduate qualification or specialist training in areas such as counselling, family violence, child protection, trauma, play therapy, or mental health will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of social service policies, casework, counselling, and programme development.
• Able to communicate effectively in English. Proficiency in additional languages may be required to meet clients' needs.
