Description

Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to enhance supply chain visibility by automating reporting and translating costing and development datasets into actionable insights, while coordinating with vendors to proactively identify risks across the development lifecycle. This role also tracks sample progress and cost-to-target performance against key milestones and target margin, highlighting exceptions for timely action.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, MicroStrategy, Power Query, Power BI, and other enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Partner with Global Manufacturing Operations and Information Technology to ensure reporting is standardized and aligned across enterprise systems and teams.
  • Utilize intermediate to advanced SQL to extract, join, troubleshoot, and reconcile costing and development datasets from multiple sources (e.g., SAP PLM, Centric, Salesforce, Snowflake).
  • Structure and maintain data models/semantic layers to enable consistent development and costing reporting within and across teams, following enterprise data standards and quality requirements.
  • Develop and enhance automated dashboards and reports for the team that improve visibility into key KPIs such as development milestone progress, sample turnaround, approval lead time, resubmission/rework trends, highlighting exceptions and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform costing analysis for the team by consolidating costing inputs and tracking variance versus target cost/margin, highlighting key cost drivers.
  • Build and maintain a cost-to-target tracker with clear thresholds and escalation triggers for styles at risk of missing margin targets.
  • Leverage SQL-based analysis and trend identification to surface early risks and highlight likely root causes.
  • Translate complex operational questions into clear metrics, intuitive dashboard views, and actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Identify reporting/process gaps and implement improvements to reduce manual work, strengthen data accuracy, and support adoption of new dashboards and tools.
  • Own end-to-end sample tracking across development stages, ensuring statuses and dates are accurate and current.
  • Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to follow up on late samples, missing information and blockers, driving timely resolution and clear action ownership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Supply Chain, Business, Merchandising, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytical roles with demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of garment production is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office; especially Excel, MicroStrategy, Power Query, Power BI and other enterprise analytics platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including experience extracting, joining, and validating data from multiple sources.
  • Strong knowledge of database structures and best practices in table normalization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP PLM or Centric is preferred.
  • Understanding of data modelling and ETL concepts would be an advantage.
