Job Responsibilities
Review and advise whether production is able to meet the customer’s required date for new loading.
Work closely with the Production team to ensure production is executed according to plan.
Adjust production planning for any pull-in or push-out requested by the Project team, or when production is unable to meet the scheduled timeline.
Review and update the production plan accordingly.
Act as the key point of contact between Production and Project teams.
Maintain effective communication with Production and Project teams to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and expectations.
Review material readiness one week in advance before production kick-off.
Work closely with the Expeditor to drive production output according to the planned schedule.
Develop contingency plans for any potential behind-schedule scenarios before updating the Project team.
Proactively update the Project team on any potential delays, together with supporting reasons.
Centralize information and data by maintaining a planning master list, with ownership under the Master Scheduler.
Generate weekly GRN reports according to customer requirements.
Requirements
Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in production planning, master scheduling, production coordination, or supply chain is preferred.
Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and material readiness.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines.
