Our client is looking for 1x experienced

Java Developer

to work with their Development team to deliver a scalable, secure, and compliant

Certificate Management Solution

. The solution will be a central service for managing the lifecycle of certificates across the bank's systems. The role requires strong expertise in Java, secure coding practices, and integration with identity and cloud platforms.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Requirement & Design

Gather and analyze business and technical requirements; perform impact assessment together with our client's Tech Leads and Architects.

Design and develop a scalable, highly available Certificate Management Service.

Ensure solution design aligns with our client's development standards, security policies, and compliance requirements (MAS TRM).

B. Development & Integration

Design and develop backend services using

Java 8/17/21 and Spring Boot

.

Integrate with

Keycloak IdP

for authentication and authorization.

Integrate with

AWS services (ACM, Secrets Manager)

for secure certificate storage and lifecycle management.

Integrate with

MS SQL Server

for application data storage and management.

Implement secure coding practices, data encryption, and key management.

C. Quality, Compliance & Support

Follow our client's SDLC standards, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory guidelines (MAS Technology Risk Management).

Provide deployment support and fix defects during SIT / UAT phases.

Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational handbooks.

3. Tech Stack & Skills Required

Core:
Java 8 / 17 / 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices

Security / IdP:
Keycloak IdP, OAuth2 / OIDC / JWT

Cloud:
AWS - ACM (AWS Certificate Manager), Secrets Manager, EC2/S3 basics

Database:
MS SQL Server - SQL queries, stored procedures

OS:
Linux

Tools & Practices:
Git, Jenkins / CI/CD, JIRA, Maven/Gradle, Secure Coding, Unit Testing (JUnit / Mockito)

Compliance Knowledge:
MAS TRM, secure key/certificate handling is a strong plus

4. Deliverables

Requirement Analysis & Impact Assessment Document

Technical Design Document (HLD / LLD)

Developed & Unit-Tested Certificate Management Service

Integration with Keycloak, AWS, and MS SQL

Deployment Package & Support during SIT/UAT

5. Qualifications

5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot).

Proven experience in building secure, enterprise-grade services.

Hands-on experience with Keycloak or similar IdP (Okta, Azure AD, Auth0).

Hands-on experience with AWS and MS SQL is mandatory.

Strong understanding of cryptography, certificates (X.509, mTLS, keystores), encryption at rest/in-transit.

Familiarity with MAS TRM and banking security standards is highly preferred.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
