Job Description

As a Securities Settlements Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate settlement of securities transactions while minimising operational and financial risk.Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor settlement activities and ensure securities are available to facilitate successful trade settlement.
  • Manage and track securities inventory movements to support settlement obligations.
  • Partner with trading teams to secure stock borrows and resolve settlement challenges.
  • Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions, failing trades, and reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including trading, legal, compliance, credit, technology, and operations teams.
  • Maintain strong control standards and adhere to established operational procedures and risk frameworks.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support operational efficiency initiatives across the team.


The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Requirements include:

  • 1+ years of experience in Securities Settlements, Trade Support, Middle Office, Equities Operations, or a related financial markets function.
  • Understanding of securities trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of equity markets and exchange operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Asian market exchanges such as SGX and HKEX is beneficial.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong risk awareness, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
