We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inspector of Works (M&E) to join the Projects Department. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and inspecting Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works at project sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Job Scope

• Monitor and inspect all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and relevant regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections and report on the progress and quality of M&E works
• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with project schedules, quality standards and safety requirements
• Identify, report and follow up on defects, non-conformance issues and corrective actions
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and relevant authorities on M&E-related matters
• Review materials, equipment and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on M&E construction activities and site issues
• Verify work completion and assist in testing, commissioning and handover processes
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports and documentation
• Undertake ad-hoc duties and assignments as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience in supervising M&E works, preferably within the property development or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction practices, testing and commissioning procedures
• Familiarity with local building regulations, industry standards and safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction documents
• Good problem-solving, organisational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and effectively manage site-related issues
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Possession of a valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites will be an added advantage

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,800.00 per month

• Bangi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
