A2 Automation Hiring! Full Time Electrical Supervisor in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 4,000 - Ricebowl

About the role:

Join A2 Automation Sdn. Bhd., a growing system integrator specializing in ELV, ICT, Security, and Automation Solutions. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising TNB-related electrical works, ensuring subcontractor compliance, safety, and proper completion of high-risk electrical activities at project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, record, and report all TNB jobs completed by subcontractors.
• Ensure subcontractors follow TNB safety requirements and site procedures.
• Conduct site checks to ensure electrical works are carried out safely.
• Ensure proper implementation of Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
• Ensure all required personnel and authorized workers are present before high-voltage work begins.
• Check relevant certifications and ensure authorized personnel are available for high-risk electrical works.
• Monitor subcontractor work progress and ensure work is completed according to requirements.
• Coordinate with TNB, Main Contractor, subcontractors, and project team on site matters.
• Identify and report unsafe work practices or electrical hazards.
• Maintain site records, reports, checklists, and relevant documentation.
• Assist with testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical works when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior or project management.

Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical installation or site supervision.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, AC/DC circuits, and electrical components.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety requirements, codes, and regulations.
• Able to use common hand tools and power tools for electrical work.
• Knowledge of TNB requirements and high-voltage electrical work is an advantage.
• Good understanding of LOTO and electrical safety procedures.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and supervise subcontractors effectively.
• Willing to travel to project sites as required.
• Possess own transport is an added advantage.
