Company Description Malaysian Institute of Baking Sdn Bhd (formerly MIB College) is recognized as the first dedicated baking school in Malaysia and is registered with the Department of Skills Development (DSD) and Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDCorp) as both a vocational college and training provider. Over 47 years, MIB has produced more than 2,000 graduates and trained over 10,000 bakers, establishing a strong reputation in baking education. The institute offers a wide range of quality baking programs, including internationally accredited diploma programs, weekend certificate courses, and specialized upskilling programs. MIB also provides professional research and development support, workshops, and other courses focused on the baking field, creating diverse learning pathways for aspiring and professional bakers.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Malaysia. The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting MIB’s baking programs and courses to prospective students, corporate clients, and partners through calls, emails, in-person meetings, and online channels. Daily tasks include managing inquiries, conducting consultations, providing detailed program information, and guiding potential learners through the registration and enrollment process. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with schools, businesses, and industry partners, supporting marketing campaigns, and participating in events such as education fairs, open days, and workshops. The Sales Executive will also track sales performance, prepare reports, and collaborate with academic and marketing teams to achieve enrollment targets and support overall growth.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing sales.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present programs clearly and build long-term client relationships.
  • Candidates should possess customer service and relationship management skills, with a focus on understanding learner needs and providing tailored guidance.
  • Candidates should possess basic marketing and outreach skills, including working with promotional campaigns, social media, and events support.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to handle multiple inquiries, follow-ups, and reporting responsibilities effectively.
  • Relevant experience in education, training, hospitality, or baking-related industries is an advantage.
  • A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken form, is beneficial.
