HUAT KOPITIAM is a new and exciting kopitiam bringing together good food, great drinks, warm hospitality, and a welcoming neighbourhood atmosphere.

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Outlet Manager to lead our outlet operations and build a strong team culture from the ground up.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the outlet, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the service and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming dining experience.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ensure the outlet follows company SOPs, hygiene standards, food safety requirements, and workplace procedures.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, training, and day-to-day performance.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and ordering requirements.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve operational or service issues professionally.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, expenses, and outlet performance.
• Work closely with the management team to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and overall presentation of the outlet.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Take charge of the outlet during peak periods and be willing to lead by example.

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant, café, kopitiam, food & beverage, or hospitality operations.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to manage a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and food hygiene.
• Responsible, organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable handling staff, customers, stock, and daily operational matters.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules when required.
• Malaysian candidates are preferred.
• Ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia and English is an advantage. Mandarin or other languages are a plus.
