The Role
To provide assistance to the client accounting team and to ensure the timely and accuracy in the financial records of the corporate or trust client entities of Trident, including other TCSPs managed by Trident in Singapore.

Duties
- Timely maintenance of financial records for client entities, in close consultation with the responsible administrator, including:
- Ensuring accounting records are accurately updated on a timely basis to meet deadlines
- Preparation of Financial statements and working papers (further details below)
- Liaison with administrators, auditors, and tax agents to obtain / provide information to enable company to meet statutory filing deadlines
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned
- Specifically, regarding Offshore companies:
- Full set bookkeeping (Monthly reconciliation of bank balances and securities quantity balances, recording payment of invoices etc.)
- Revaluation of year end balances (i.e. foreign currency revaluation, calculate and post Fair value adjustments for investments)
- Preparation of Financial statements and working papers (i.e. Reconciliation workings between Viewpoint and bank statements)
- Monitoring and following up with administrators for client entity transactions such as supporting documents for accounting entries (e.g. NAV statements of privately held investments, Cash surrender value of insurance policies etc.)
- Specifically, regarding Singapore companies:
- Full set bookkeeping (Monthly reconciliation of bank balances and securities quantity balances) and maintain supporting documents referenced in sequence by journal numbers
- Preparation of Financial statements in accordance with SFRS, supporting schedules and year end confirmation balances
- Preparation of Financial statements in XBRL format
- Preparation of Form C-S & Tax computation for Companies
Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in full set bookkeeping and preparation of Financial statements
- Familiar with Investment holding companies (i.e. holding of listed securities and private investments), Family offices, FRS 109 and FRS 107 – Financial instruments and Disclosures for Financial instruments will be highly advantageous
- Experience with preparation of Form C-S will be highly advantageous
- Relevant professional qualification or ability and commitment to work towards an approved relevant professional qualification; alternatively, an employee may be qualified by experience
- Good knowledge of Singapore FRS
- Expertise in using Viewpoint, Microsoft Excel
- Proficient communication skills
- Excellence in bookkeeping and reconciliation abilities
- Excellent numeracy skills and accuracy
- Meticulous with eye for detail
- Efficient and good time management skills to ensure statutory deadlines are met (i.e. ECI, AGM, Form C-S, AEOI)
