. They are responsible for driving daily operations, delivering service excellence, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and managing customer escalations to maintain high satisfaction.
A service supervisor's core responsibilities and skills in the service sector include:
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Managing shift rosters, training frontline staff, and ensuring the team is motivated and equipped to handle customers.
Quality Assurance & SOPs: Monitoring service quality, enforcing health and safety protocols, and ensuring strict compliance with industry standards.
Customer Relations: Stepping in to resolve complex customer complaints, oversee service recovery, and build customer loyalty.
Operational Reporting: Managing daily KPIs, tracking sales or service metrics, and reporting feedback to senior management
