Responsibilities

Junior Executive, Human Resources – Payroll

Location: Kuala Lumpur
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract for Service

We are looking for a Junior Executive, Human Resources to join our HR team, with a primary focus on payroll administration and employee HR matters. This role is suitable for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and interested in developing their career in payroll and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in monthly payroll processing, including employee data, salary, overtime and attendance verification.
  • Assist with statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO and PCB, and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave, overtime and other HR records.
  • Process and verify employee claims, medical benefits, insurance and outpatient matters.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with employee and intern onboarding, offboarding and contract renewal.
  • Coordinate employee welfare and benefit programmes.
  • Prepare HR letters, memos, announcements, reports and other HR documents.
  • Liaise with employees, Management, government agencies and external service providers on routine HR matters.
  • Ensure HR processes and documentation are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
  • Support HR activities, staff programmes and other administrative tasks.
  • Perform other HR-related and ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management or the HR Department.

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of HR/payroll experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.
  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical accuracy.
  • Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Willing to learn and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Important Contract Information

This position is offered under a 6-month Contract for Service.

Candidates must understand and acknowledge that:

  • The initial engagement is strictly for 6 months.
  • Performance and deliverables will be reviewed during the contract period.
  • Subject to good performance, business requirements and the Company's discretion, the Company may consider offering a permanent position upon completion of the contract.
  • A permanent position is not guaranteed and will be subject to the Company's assessment and approval.
