Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) programs and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, occupational safety and health laws and regulations.
• Monitor and manage scheduled waste, chemical handling, storage and disposal activities.
• Manage environmental monitoring, including IETS and related compliance requirements.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections, risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
• Coordinate incident investigation, corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Conduct ESH training, awareness programs and emergency response drills.
• Maintain ESH records, reports, permits, licenses and documentation.
• Support internal and external ESH audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants and external parties on ESH-related matters.
• Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in ESH, environmental or safety functions in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Environmental Quality Act, OSHA and applicable ESH regulations.
• Knowledge of scheduled waste management and chemical handling.
• Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements is an advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
