Job Summary

You will prepare and produce a variety of pastries and cakes, ensuring accuracy in ingredient preparation and adherence to recipes and hygiene standards, while supporting kitchen operations and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and collaborate effectively with team members to meet kitchen production goals
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Apply knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
• Adapt to changing menus and customer preferences by adjusting preparation and production methods accordingly
• Accurately prepare all pastry ingredients to meet recipe requirements
• Produce mousse cream, batter, knee tart, pie cookies, and cakes following established recipes
• Layer and decorate pastries and cakes to meet presentation specifications set by the Patisserie chef
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines precisely to ensure product consistency
• Assist in stocktaking ingredients and products, maintaining neat and clean records
• Store and package ingredients, utensils, supplies, and equipment properly to preserve quality and safety
• Adhere strictly to kitchen standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and kitchen safety at all times
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned to support kitchen operations
• Bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pastry production
