Role Overview

The Product Development Manager, Fragrance & Formulation, leads the development of new products from concept to launch. Working closely with internal teams, fragrance houses, suppliers, and manufacturers, the role ensures products are high quality, commercially viable, compliant, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full product development process from concept to commercialization.
• Lead and develop the Product Development team.
• Coordinate fragrance, formulation, testing, and product refinement with external partners.
• Develop innovative products based on market trends and consumer insights.
• Manage costing, margins, timelines, and product specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including IFRA where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Product Development, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development within fragrance, beauty, personal care, lifestyle, or consumer products.
• Experience in fragrance development and/or formulation.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of product testing, sourcing, manufacturing, costing, and regulatory requirements.
