Key Responsibilities

• Handle M&A, acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures and corporate transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and identify key transaction risks.
• Draft, review and negotiate SPAs, shareholders' agreements, investment agreements and related transaction documents.
• Advise clients on transaction structure, regulatory and corporate matters, warranties, indemnities and completion.
• Work closely with clients, counterparties and other professional advisers.
• Manage transactions independently and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant M&A/corporate experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage transactions independently and work effectively as part of a team.
• Cross-border M&A and/or private equity experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and any other foreign language.
