Job Description

Responsibilities

A.     Key Responsibilities

1.       Coordinate quality activities for new product launches between Malaysia & China Factory

2.       Review Control Plan, PFMEA, SOP, WI, Specifications

3.       Manage trial runs, validation, FAI & PPAP submissions

4.       Ensure NPD milestones are achieved on schedule

5.       Responsible for the development, improvement and update of the department's centralized procedure documents and corresponding work instructions.

6.       Responsible for issuance and implementing the laws and regulations and systems related to quality, and assisting the HR Department in quality related training.

7.       Responsible for development of quality management plans such as quality objectives and quality improvement.

8.       Responsible for organizing and implementing product quality management and quality assurance ability review and quality management of suppliers and responsible for all materials and products incoming inspection, process inspection, final inspection and outgoing inspection.

9.       Responsible for resolving quality disputes and quality issues, proposing corresponding measures and handling opinions, reporting major quality incidents in a timely manner and reporting the quality situation in the company's weekly meeting.

10.   Responsible for managing the compliance and effectiveness of the company's application process methods.

11.    Responsible for providing the appropriate management review inputs.

B.      Cross-Factory Coordination (Malaysia & China)

1.          Align and standardize QA systems between factories

2.          Drive corrective actions (8D / CAPA)

3.          Monitor customer complaints and internal quality trends

4.          Support internal & external audits

C.      Supplier Quality Management (China)

1.          Coordinate, evaluate new suppliers / materials on documentation and approvals.

2.          Handle supplier complaints & improvement follow-up

D.     Requirements

1.          Degree in Engineering / Science / Quality Management

2.          5 years QA experience in Rubber / Plastic manufacturing environment

3.          Experience in New Product Development and supplier quality management

4.          Strong knowledge in Quality Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, 7 QC Tools, 8D, SPC)

5.          Familiar with ISO 9001 / 14001/IATF 16949/CSR

6.          Experience coordinating with China factory preferred

7.          Good communication skills (Mandarin is an advantage)

8.          Strong leadership and analytical mindset

9.          Familiar with QC tools, methodologies and its application.
