- Assist in data entry, recording financial transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, management reports, and presentations.
- Assist in bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial account reconciliations.
- Perform basic financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and updating financial data.
- Assist with audit preparations and compliance documentation.
- Conduct research on financial regulations, market trends, and industry developments.
- Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to support daily operations.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team when required.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive financial information.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives assigned by supervisors.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related fields.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
- Gain hands-on experience in a professional finance environment.
- Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliation, and compliance processes.
- Work closely with experienced finance professionals.
- Opportunity to develop practical skills and industry knowledge.
