KC Services Sdn Bhd, which is an independent boutique marketing and communications firm built by an experienced team of marketers. We act as the bank’s in-house marketing and communications partner, supporting brand building, client engagement and regional stakeholder communications. This role offers a rare opportunity to help define how an emerging investment bank communicates with the market. You will not inherit a playbook—you will help build it.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communications & Content Strategy

• Lead communications across internal, external and client-facing channels.

• Develop and maintain strategic messaging frameworks.

• Produce high-quality written content including newsletters, corporate announcements, client updates, website content and marketing collateral.

• Create editorial calendars and ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging.

• Support executive communications, speeches, presentations and strategic messaging.

• Manage and coordinate external communications partners including PR, creative and specialist agencies.

SEO, Digital Content & Analytics

• Own the organisation’s SEO and content visibility strategy.

• Conduct keyword research and translate insights into content initiatives.

• Recommend improvements to website structure, content and user experience.

• Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4

• Use analytics and audience insights to improve communications effectiveness.

Media Relations & Public Relations

• Prepare media materials including press releases, key messaging documents, Q&A briefs and speaking notes.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for earned media coverage and thought leadership placement.

• Coordinate with journalists, media outlets and external PR partners.

• Identify and support executive visibility and public-facing commentary opportunities.

Events & Regional Engagement

• Develop communications plans for conferences, forums, client events and industry engagements.

• Produce speeches, event materials, invitations, eDMs and post-event content.

• Support on-site communications and messaging coordination where required.

• Capture and amplify thought leadership and relationship-building opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

You will thrive if you:

• Have at least 8 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, content strategy or a related field.

• Have had experience in a similar corporate communications role be it in-house or in an agency.

• Are an exceptional writer with the ability to produce long-form English content.

• Can translate complex financial, technical or regulatory concepts into clear and engaging narratives.

• Are intellectually curious and enjoy researching markets, finance, business and industry developments.

• Understand SEO fundamentals and analytics-driven content strategy.

• Are highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Thrive in fast-moving environments where initiative and ownership are valued.

• Can adapt tone and style across executive, corporate, client, editorial and event communications.

• Are comfortable working hands-on within a lean and growing team.
