Travelsmart Vacation Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, recommending suitable travel products, preparing quotations, arranging bookings, and following up with customers throughout their travel journey. This is a sales-focused role with opportunities to work across leisure travel, private tours, cruises, customised holidays, and other travel services.

• Handle customer enquiries through walk-ins, WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, travel fairs, and other channels

• Understand customers' travel preferences, budgets, schedules, and requirements

• Recommend and sell suitable tour packages, private tours, cruises, customised holidays, and travel services

• Prepare travel itineraries and quotations based on customer requirements

• Manage bookings and coordinate flights, hotels, transportation, tours, and other travel arrangements

• Follow up with enquiries and leads to maximise sales conversion

• Build and maintain good relationships with customers

• Provide professional and responsive customer service before, during, and after the trip

• Keep updated on travel destinations, new products, promotions, airline schedules, and industry trends

• Participate in travel fairs, roadshows, company events, and promotional activities

• Maintain accurate booking records, customer information, and travel documentation

• Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other travel partners when required

• Previous experience in travel agency, tourism, sales, or customer service is an advantage

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Sales-driven with a positive attitude and strong follow-up skills

• Able to understand customer needs and recommend suitable travel solutions

• Good knowledge of travel destinations and tourism products

• Able to prepare quotations and manage travel arrangements accurately

• Inbound, outbound travel and air ticketing knowledge will be an added advantage

• Experience with airline ticketing systems, GDS, or booking platforms will be an advantage

• Comfortable communicating through WhatsApp, phone, social media, and face-to-face

• Willing to participate in travel fairs and work occasional weekends or public holidays when required

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
