We are looking for a Software Engineer – Sapiens IDIT to develop, configure, enhance, and support insurance applications built on the Sapiens IDIT platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with Technical Leads, Business Analysts, QA, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that support General Insurance products and digital transformation initiatives.

This role requires hands-on experience in Sapiens IDIT development, troubleshooting, system integration, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Sapiens IDIT Development

• Develop, configure, and customize solutions within the Sapiens IDIT platform.
• Implement new product features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Configure business rules, workflows, product definitions, rating, underwriting, policy servicing, and document generation.
• Develop reusable components following development standards and best practices.
  
  

Technical Delivery

• Participate in requirement analysis and technical design discussions.
• Convert functional specifications into technical solutions.
• Estimate development effort and support sprint planning activities.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  
  

Integration Development

• Develop and maintain REST APIs and system integrations.
• Implement integrations between IDIT and external systems such as payment gateways, CRM, document management systems, and data platforms.
• Support API testing and interface troubleshooting.
• Validate data mappings and payload structures.
  
  

Testing & Quality

• Perform unit testing and support system integration testing.
• Assist business users during UAT.
• Investigate and resolve defects within agreed SLAs.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards.
  
  

Production Support

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support.
• Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Support production deployments and post-release verification.
• Work with vendors and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
  
  

Documentation

• Prepare technical specifications and solution documentation.
• Maintain configuration documents and API specifications.
• Update knowledge articles and support documentation.
  
  

Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• Technical Leads
• Business Analysts
• QA Engineers
• Product Owners
• Business Users
• Sapiens Global Support
• Integration teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and maintainability.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks and development standards.
• Stay current with Sapiens IDIT product enhancements and insurance technology trends.

Essential

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Sapiens IDIT development.
• Experience developing insurance policy administration solutions.
• Strong understanding of General Insurance business processes.
• Experience with REST APIs and system integration.
• Good SQL and relational database skills.
• Experience working with JSON and XML.
• Experience using Git or Bitbucket for source control.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
