Hiring: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) | KL Onsite | 1-Year Contract

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Onsite)

Employment: 1-Year Contract

We are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our client's project in the insurance industry. Local candidates preferred for urgent onboarding.

What You Bring:

5+ years Oracle Database Administration experience

Infrastructure and database administration expertise

Backup/recovery and configuration management

Installation and maintenance of DBMS

Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

Ability to work independently and become a Subject Matter Expert

Cloud experience – good to have

Strong communication and collaboration skills

What You'll Do:

Administer, develop, test, and demonstrate databases

Design, implement, and maintain new databases

Perform backup/recovery and configuration management

Install database management systems (DBMS)

Develop innovative strategies to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database solutions

Monitor and troubleshoot database issues – ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime

Conduct regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database administration
